Valheim with Enjii

I've been playing Valheim with my friend Enjii. He's quite the engineer and architect — just look at this base.

Update: Four-Man Crew — October 10, 2026

The new update dragged us back in. For me Valheim’s a placeholder until GTA 6 drops November 19. Pretty sure it’s the same for Enjii. Probably the same for half the gaming world, honestly.

We started fresh. New world seed, blank slate… except we kept our characters from the last run. Enjii set us up on a paid server this time. Generous man. Loading in and seeing those empty trophy stones hit me: we’re grinding all of this again. Well, sort of. The server’s running 2x resources, and thank god for that, because there’s no way we’d finish in time otherwise.

I went north right away and threw up a little 4x4 shelter after farming wood around the spot I’d picked for our first base. Enjii joined me almost immediately and we just… farmed. An hour later we had a massive base going. That first base is getting turned into a farm now. Enjii’s got plans for it, now that we’ve got the fortress up. That’s the longhouse above and the furnaces below, by the way. The guys did work.

Bosses so far: the big ass deer. The Temu version of Grimer. And the dragon, Moder. Or as I call that fight, the jankiest battle we’ve ever had, and somehow one of the most entertaining. I know I’m forgetting one more boss but I can’t care enough to try and remember.

The dragon fight is my favorite so far, mostly because Xander was there. We herded that thing into landing on a structure the guys built and just unloaded obsidian arrows into it until it dropped. The trophy doesn’t hang itself, you have to haul it back to spawn and mount it on the stone yourself. Thankfully we’ve got like six portals up now, the row in the second picture, so getting around isn’t the chore it used to be. Enjii climbed the whole damn mountain and claimed it. Stolen valor, I say. Haha.

We’re a four-man Viking crew now. The builds are looking dope, all credit to the guys. Grinding materials is easier with help, and honestly the whole game is just more fun with a crew. Next biome soon. I’ll keep better notes this time so I can actually relay it properly in the next update.
